My name is Katie Fischer and I am excited to be your VMEPC President for the 2025-26 school year. My husband Andrew and I moved to Van Meter in 2018. We have 3 kids, Braeden (5th), Madilynn (2nd) and Josephine (Preschool). We came to Van Meter for the small school district and amazing community surrounding it. I have been involved in VME

I have been involved in VMEPC since the 2021-22 school year and love it! As someone who was new to the district it was a great way for me to meet teachers, other parents and learn more about our school and how it all works. If you can’t volunteer, I recommend coming to meetings so you can hear what is going on from Mr. Tibbetts, learn from the teachers and build connections with others in the district.
